Better Late than Never

Today we had our first snow fall of the year.  Better late than never, right?  For those of you who do not know, Chris and I love the snow and relish the chance to spend any time in it.  Although we are not getting any large accumulations of snow, it is always such a calming, white silence when the ground is covered in such fine white powder.

The baseball team always gets excited with the first snow fall.  They all go out to the ball field and play in the snow.  Defiantly a time for team bonding and fun.

For those of you who follow our blog, I have a knitting blog that you might want to follow as well.

Happy New Year!

I trust that you all have had a great 2011 and are looking forward to a new 2012.  Chris and I are particularly thankful this year to have the love and support of our family and friends.  We have so loved living in Campbellsville, KY and have come to call it home.  We are looking forward to what the Lord has for us in the New Year and will do our best to remain in His will for our lives.

Baseball Season starts next week and we are ready to go!  I will do my best to update you with how the team is doing this season.

Remember as you start this New Year to put Christ first in all you decisions and he will guide your path.

To Cute to eat

This little white chocolate sheep was sent in my Easter basket along with some rainbow yarn.  How do you eat something so cute.  The chocolate even has the swirls and tufts of its fiber imprinted into its little body.  My Mother-in-law picked this up at a small speciality chocolate shop in Portland, Oregon.  Thought I would share the cute little fella with you all.

Mysery Lace Project

I am on the finishing end of my Mystery Lace project.  As not to give away all the details, I have piled my knitting up so that the pattern will remain a mystery.  It has been a while sense my last lace project, but it is such a quick knit when you get that oh so thin fiber running through your fingers at lightning speed.  More to come soon!
